A small (very small) part of the research for my new book has involved drawing a miniature dachshund. Here are a few of those sketches, just to show how tricky this can be. As you can see, when he’s not wriggling, chewing, or shouting, he’s being quite ridiculous. Fortunately, he’s not my responsibility.
